At the same time though, I really admire her for leaving the sport on her terms. I will always remember her victories of the summer or 2006 and her walk around the deck after medaling at World Championships this last spring. I wish Hayley all the best in her post competitive swimming life. And hey, she is young, she can always come back if she misses it! That is really a shock to me.
