Why Speedo? Why?

Speedo has done it again!

Some possible reasons for this hot mess of an ad:

  • It’s fun to emasculate Phelps and Lochte
  • Speedo is getting back at the athletes for having such large contracts
  • They couldn’t fathom giving Jess (Hardy) a better print ad debut

    • Having said all that, The Hoff rocks that tiny skirt really well, doesn’t she? Y’all didn’t think we were going to hate on Katie, did you? Our computers would self-destruct were we even to attempt it.

      Speedo never ceases to amaze me. I always think they out gayed themselves, but -BAM – there’s another ad. But yes, I do love Katie’s skirt and Kate and Natalie’s jackets. Poor Ryan. That is probably thee ugliest hat I have ever seen.

      im soo shocked by the ugliness of this ad i’m not sure what to do with myself. cry that it is soooooo ugly that my eyes can’t handle or laugh at how hard speedo dropped the ball on this one.

      katie does look super cute in that mini! go katie!

      dear speedo,
      please stop making suits in such fugly prints. it isn’t innovative, pretty, attractive, flattering, catchy, or anything that sheds your new line in a positive light.

      So, aside from my nightmare last night on this ad (no, seriously, I had a nightmare!!), I wondered this: why isn’t crocker in this ad? Do they love him more or don’t want to harm his emo reputation, or is something up with his contract?

      Alright, Seriously? WTF is phelps yelling at? And that suit? WOW. AND the fact that he’s jumping, just makes his toes look like claws.

      Katie’s skirt is cute… I could never wear it, but she sure as hell can… hahahaa

      Natalie looks like she’s running away from a rapist, but she’s happy… Its kind of weird.

      Poor Jess. Seriously. Although I would probably have done the same pose… but i’m crazy like that… lol and what happened to her right hand? it looks like she’s missing a finger…

      Kate’s jacket is alright… but i mean, its a jacket… lol

      Oh ryan… lol is he wearing his grill? hahahaha
