Going to Trials? Hope You’ve Been Saving!

USA Swimming LogoSo, ticket packets for next year’s Olympic Trials have gone out and so I must say that if you haven’t been saving for this trip, I strongly suggest you start doing so STAT!

If you want the best that Omaha’s Qwest Center has to offer, be sure to get your bank account (or credit card) ready, because it’s going to set you back $475.00; that’s for the gold package. Now if you’re not a ticket snob like the Swim Aids, and don’t necessarily require the best seats in the house, there are also Silver and Bronze ticket packages that are $375 and $275 respectively.

Tickets are available beginning May 24, 2007 at TicketMaster outlets and online at TicketMaster.com.

If you need tips on how to save money, please don’t ask me. I suck at it. That’s why I’m glad that I don’t have to empty my wallet for Trials tickets. Man, it’s good to be a credentialed member of the press!

Yeah, there’s no way I would miss this though. I told mi madre about this, and she looks and me and she’s like, I guess you’re gonna have to work for this. There’s no way I’m just going to give you $300 bucks. And I so honestly reply: “Yeah. I guess so. Guess I’ll just have to work my corner some more.”

Needless to say, I will be getting a job in college.
