Stanford Mixes it Up!
Last weekend ‘The Cardinal’ tried something new. The women’s swim team raced the men’s water polo team. This is what we like to see! Adding a little bit a spice to competition is always exciting, is it not?
The event program mirrored your typical high school swim meet, and even attracted former Cardinals Tara and Dana Kirk.
The end result — complete with bragging rights — was a victory for the men’s water polo team. Although it wasn’t a complete sweep. The ladies held their own! Later this month, the men’s swim team is going to take on the women’s water polo team. Anyone care to place bets on who comes out on top after that duel? I kid.
