Loving All The Beijing Buzz, One Year Out
First the “Today Show” aired a couple of preview segments featuring Mikey P. and Kate Z. earlier. Then, later today, NBC will come back during primetime this evening to air the Olympic Zone Preview at 7:30 PM. ETA: Olympic Zone Preview is airing in select markets, but not all. But don’t worry, kiwi’s putting it on DVD, so we’ll be able to share!
If that wasn’t enough, a new story is published detailing the 3600 hours of coverage NBC is set to provide for next year’s Beijing Games; 2,200 hours of which will be live broadband streaming.
For self-professed Olympic Whores like the Swim Aids, it feels like Christmas!

Today is seriously like Christmas. I have been bouncing around all day; so excited. I’m pretty sure my parents are getting sick of hearing about the Olympics.
yes! olympic whores!! i saw the today show this morning…natalie and kate were attempting to teach natalie, the news anchor, to backstroke, and it was not a pretty sight. she didn’t really talk to kate a lot, more to natalie.
i didn’t know about the thing tonight…i’m totally watching it now.
Well, it’s not airing here. Some stupid “Most Outrageous Moments” show was on instead. Lame! *shakes fist*

the olympic zone preview wasnt all that exciting. it was cute that the santa clara pool was featured in some of the segments. the piece was mostly about historical landmarks, nightlife, some of the venues, and a short segment with phelps.
today show was more exciting and current =)
