Behind-The-Scenes at 2008 Speedo Catalog Shoot
Audra from Speedo uploaded the following video to YouTube that gives a small glimpse behind-the-scenes of the 2008 Speedo Racing Catalog Shoot. Having seen the catalog, I would like to say that while it was great to see new faces like T-DUB!! and Kim V. in it (after we bitched a few months back), I am still extremely disappointed to not see 2 of the Team Speedo World Record Holders — Klete and Pete — included in the catalog. Shame on you, Speedo! Way to drop the ball!

Nice video, I too am disappointed in Speedo tho for not putting Pete or Klete in it… bastards! On a different note, WTF is up with them in the pancho (sp?) thingys… i dont get it… lol
yeah, i really like the video, too. i think it was easier to watch since we probably took 20 of the catalogs between the 6 of us. and i agree erika, those poncho things are hideous!
I saw this on Youtube yesterday - it’s really cool! btw - how do you get a catalog?? because I’ve been trying for years to figure it out, and I still don’t know. I went on their site, and tried to find a link, but couldn’t. so if anyone could help me, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!!
They have stacks and stacks of them that they give away for free at Nationals each summer. They also have the catalogs in select swim shops across the country. But they’re pretty hard to get a hold of!
Hey Erika I think the thing with the Ponchos is the fact that photographers are considered artists so that is part of their artistic and creative side comming out. I don’t like it that much either, but I respect the creativity side of it. Awesome video suz how did you get a hold of it? I can’t wait till 8/8/08. Thanks for sharing.
oooooh. i think this was playing in the concourse/hallway thing at nationals but i could never catch the whole thing. exciting that i finally got to see it!
but seriously speedo..you can only drop the ball soo many times before im going to think tyr is better! hahaha
