It’s official: Hell has frozen over!

I never thought I’d see the day where cheerleaders and mascots show up on the pool deck for a meet, but that day has come. Mark January 27, 2007 in your calendars, y’all!

Say what you will about The Ohio State University (and I usually do, but that’s not the point of this post), but they have school spirit unlike anything I’ve seen! A small squad of cheerleaders, plus the ever-popular school mascot, Brutus the Buckeye, were on hand today for the 2nd half of the OSU/Northwestern/Michigan double dual meet.

I know, I know. I wouldn’t believe that either. But that’s why I am always equipped with cameras at swimming meets. Check out my proof:

      As am I. You can ask my brother, all I kept saying during the meet was “I can’t believe there are cheerleaders here…” over and over again haha

      BRUTUS WAS THERE?!?! i only thought a few cheerleaders were there. wow! im shocked! i can’t stop staring at these photos. are you sure you didn’t photoshop this? jk jk
