Nothing like life in the ghetto

Since Michigan is in my hometown to take on OSU and Northwestern this weekend, I thought it was time for a Michigan post. Especially since Club Wolverine really does own us. I mean, have you seen how many CWers are covered at Swim Stars?. It’s getting out of control.

Anyway, I would just like to say that the entire University of Michigan swimming program deserves better than these ghetto programs that get printed up and handed out at their meets:

It’s really embarassing. Especially when other Big Ten programs create and distribute programs that look like this:

I know what you’re thinking. “Who cares?” Am I right? Well I care! So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

This program won the National Team Title in August at the USA Swimming Summer Nationals! Don’t they deserve better? The little things start to add up! Because it’s not like UM has a dope scoreboard with instant replay going for them…or their own fleet of buses…or an amazing facility with seating on both sides of the pool…or any of the Swim Aids living in their town…

*cough*

      amen! i think we’ve covered this topic many many times. the ‘dungeon’ needs some work.

      AMEN! Seriously, they have one of the biggest budgets in colleges! And I mean, they can’t add on a couple of bedrooms for us?

      in the thumbnail image of the michigan program i couldn’t even tell that that picture was of a swimmer. and then when i clicked it i still couldn’t tell. i had to zoom in.

      haha…bad. BAD.

      Yea, it’s PVK in that picture. It’s a damn travesty that his #1 fan couldn’t even tell it was him without zooming. *shakes head*

      I don’t know where all that money is going but it definitely needs to be diverted into a slush fund to revamp the program. “shakes head in disgust”
