Nike fails at life Pt. 2

Nike tries, but still fails at life

I know I’ve been on a Nike bashing trip lately, but I just have to point out the error of their ways, promotion-wise. After all, what I do with Swim Stars (and much better than Nike, I might add) is promotion, so I feel that my opinion is relevant.

I like that they are trying, but they need assistance STAT! I like that there is an ad in Swimming World Magazine. I like that they finally activated the nike.com/swim URL. What I don’t like is that it looks like they had an intern open up Photoshop and create it on their lunch break. Ghetto. And, for the love of the guy upstairs, where are Brendan’s goggle straps in the photo?

Does anyone else hear that? You know, the sound of a train wreck? I hear it like it is coming right through my wall!

I really don’t know what Nike’s problem is. I mean come on. Seriously. I thought you were all about Sports and junk. What-EVER!

what the heck is this? the first time i saw this i was like ” why in the heck did they photoshop out the goggle straps? it doesnt make the nike sign any clearer in view. if anything the goggle straps would have made for more promo.” i don’t understand them. nike needs to get their crap together, STAT!

the photographer who did the most recent nike ads need to think of a new concept that actually promotes swimming and uses their feature athletes. please.

I agree with the previous post with the track ads for swimming… sad.
But as for the goggle straps- he’s probably wearing Nike’s new strapless goggles… they’ve been around for a little while but they’re just starting to be advertized.
